We are currently seeking a CAD Designer based at our Print Shop in Santa Ana, California Responsibilites: Inter-departmental communication with Account and Project Management Teams to create and edit 3-D layouts including blank layout, art placement/adjustment Prep jobs for print; create press ready art for print vendors, complete PRQ's. Send jobs to print; this will include decisions on vendor, material, pricing, shipping, location/method and submitting proofs to the Account and Project Managers. Manage client assets Qualifications and Education Requirements: Autodesk AutoCad Program Background Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, in design and photoshop Proven ability to work in a team environment Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Knowledge of grand format printing a plus Ability to read and/or familiarity with construction blueprints a plus THIS JOB DESCRIPTION IS NOT INTENDED TO BE ALL-INCLUSIVE.
